Plot:
Four friends go on vacation to Mexico and meet another tourist then all go to explore an ancient Mayan Ruin. What ensues once they get to the ruins is....TEEN DRAMA! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Horror:
Unless you're afraid of natives (EG. white people cover your eyes) or plants then you're 5 year old brother will be fine. This movie was clearly aimed at the pre-teen crowd, no legit horror, no "jump out" moments, not even any suspense.
Acting:
The acting "might" be alright but all the characters are paper thin so we don't get a chance to find out. There's the typical character types (helpless chick, "leader", the one that gets knocked off early, the badass etc.
Overall:
A pretty lame movie, with no closure. Where did the "thing" (not to spoil it) in the Ruins come from? It was an archaelogical dig, yet there was no food, proper tools, and the only way into the it was a old ass rope on a lever. What?
